Liliya Shadrin

Liliya was first introduced to yoga as a child, after picking up her first copy of the Bhagavad Gita at the age of 9. It sparked countless questions—ones that often went unanswered growing up in a traditional religious environment. Still, something about the yogic path stayed with her.

For years, she felt drawn to it but never fully trusted herself to take the leap.

In 2025, after a long battle with depression, she turned to yoga—not for spirituality, but simply as a way to move, to feel stronger, and to lose weight through vigorous asana practice. But yoga has a way of revealing more than what you seek.

Within a year, she lost 30 pounds, transformed her physical health, and unexpectedly reconnected with something deeper. What began as a physical practice became a path back to herself.

She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Ayama Yoga Academy, deepening both her practice and her understanding of the discipline.

Today, yoga is not just something she practices—it’s something she lives and shares. Teaching has become her greatest joy, a way to guide others toward strength, presence, and their own inner connection.

Liliya also speaks Russian and Ukrainian, and is happy to support students in either language.
