Yoga Calisthenics

This class is inspired by dands, a traditional form of Indian yogic calisthenics rooted in the ancient training of wrestlers. These rhythmic, flowing movements combine strength, breath, and coordination — often resembling dynamic push-up variations that build resilience and control in the whole body.

Through powerful bodyweight exercises, animal-inspired movements, and creative training sequences, this practice develops strength, endurance, and coordination in a grounded, intentional way.

The class includes preparatory breathing exercises, warm-ups, strengthening and endurance work, and finishes with a short stretching sequence to restore and balance the body.
