    After her mother passed away, Alesya experienced great feelings of emptiness and grief. Knowing her mind, body and spirit were disconnected, she began asking questions such as “who am I, why am I here?” Her inquiries led her to Yoga, a path on which she embarked when she moved to Miami in 2012. Her attendance of Body and Brain, a Yoga and Tai Chi center, drew Alesya to learning more and more about yoga, energy and holistic healing. After 4 years of her own intense practice and self-study, she completed a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Mariano Ardissone, and began sharing what she has learned, that through Yoga Asana and breathing you can calm your mind and become an observer.
