DESCRIPTION OF THE CLASSES
VINYASA OPEN LEVELS: This class gives the fundamentals of a flowing practice that synchronizes movement with breath. The teacher will guide the student through an unstructured sequence that incorporates breathing techniques, proper alignment and dynamic movement, leading to a meditative state. A challenging and dynamic style of class developed that allows the students to work at their own level following the teacher’s guidance. Creative, intelligent sequencing and postures with different variations are taught to suit the practitioner's personal needs and posibilities. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
 
VINYASA BASICS: Class intended to teach the fundamentals of a vinyasa practice. Before movement is generated, the class invites the student to look at the proper alignment within the depth of each pose. The nature of the class is restorative. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
 
HATHA YOGA: Gentle, slow, Kripalu -Yoga of Awareness- style Yoga, involving traditional Hatha Yoga poses, Pranayama -breathing-, visualizations and Kriyas -movements of energy. SCHEDULE OF CLASSES
 
ANUSARA YOGA: Anusara  means “flowing with Grace, flowing with Nature, following your heart.” Founded by John Friend in 1997, Anusara yoga is a school of hatha yoga, which unifies a life-affirming Tantric philosophy of intrinsic goodness with Universal Principles of Alignment. It’s uplifting philosophy, epitomized by a "celebration of the heart"  looks for the good in all people and all things. ABOUT PSYCHEDELIC YOGA: Lose your mind...but find yourself in this incredible "music-driven" class where the rhythm of the songs dictates the moving meditation of the poses. yoga lessons "off the mat" are taught as well as breathing techniques respecting the yogic philosophy of balancing opposing energies. PRENATAL YOGA: A safe and nurturing class designed to help moms during pregnancy. In a safe environment, creative, opening and strengthening postures are taught, along with specific breathing exercises, to guide and facilitate labor and birth. Silent space and special time for relaxation are all part of this unique class. Classes will generally start with a few minutes of easy postures and breathing exercises that will prepare your body for deep relaxation, and then you will have the choice of laying on your back or sitting up for the guided meditation. Different meditation techniques will be used and taught that will prepare you for your own practice. KIDS YOGA: These classes are a fun way for children to learn and connect with with themselves. Through fun yoga poses and games, kids learn ways to help strengthen their bodies and minds.
