DESCRIPTION OF THE CLASSES
 
Universal OPEN Levels: A challenging, dynamic style of class developed by Andrey Lappa, that allows the students to work at their own level following the teacher’s guidance. Creative, intelligent sequencing and postures with different variations are taught to suit the practitioner's needs.

Vinyasa OPEN LEVELS: This class gives the fundamentals of a flowing practice that synchronizes movement with breath. The teacher will guide the student through an unstructured sequence that incorporates breathing techniques, proper alignment and dynamic movement, leading to a meditative state. 
 
HATHA YOGA: Gentle, slow, Kripalu -Yoga of Awareness- style Yoga, involving traditional Hatha Yoga poses, Pranayama -breathing-, visualizations and Kriyas -movements of energy.
POWER YOGA: Typical sequence includes Sun Salutations, followed by standing poses and a wide array of seated poses, back bends and inversions. A bit more challenging than the Hatha classes, they offer more of a workout.

KUNDALINI YOGA: This classes aims to awaken our consciousness and our dormant energy -Kundalini energy- at the base of the spine. It involves Kriyas -movements of energy-, chanting and meditation. The body and its immune system will be strengthened and rejuvenated.
 
Prenatal YOGA: A safe and nurturing class designed to help moms during pregnancy. In a safe environment, creative, opening and strengthening postures are taught, along with specific breathing exercises, to guide and facilitate labor and birth. Silent space and special time for relaxation are all part of this unique class. Classes will generally start with a few minutes of easy postures and breathing exercises that will prepare your body for deep relaxation, and then you will have the choice of laying on your back or sitting up for the guided meditation. Different meditation techniques will be used and taught that will prepare you for your own practice. Kids Yoga & Teens Yoga: These classes are a fun way for children to learn and connect with with themselves. Through fun yoga poses and games, kids learn ways to help strengthen their bodies and minds.
